Today is the Day. The last day of Oprah. And for that it's a look at Jake and Oprah.
Jake has been on Oprah one way or another 3 times.
The first time was back in 2004 , Jake helped get the vote out and hit up a college campus to get the word out in a segment for Lady O.
Jake even shook the pom poms for USC.

Then in January of 2006, Jake and the rest of the cast of BBM had an audience with the daytime tv legend, sitting on her couch for a chat about BBM.
Not Oprah's best interview. Some of her questions, even made Jake think "what the...?"

But going on Oprah did do something, that was bringing Brokeback to a whole new audience, and opening a dialog with people who may have never talked about same sex relationships before, let alone even thought about a same sex love story.
The last time Jake was on Oprah again was in a clip, after presenting at the Oscars in 2010.

Oprah's friend and former personal chef Art Smith co-owns, Table Fifty-Two, in Chicago, and Ms. Winfrey has sent many who have visited her show there to experience Smith's down home goodness.
