Vacation is over and now it's back work.
Jake popped back up in LA yesterday as he got papp'd at the Dr's office. It looks like he got some sun from the holiday weekend getaway in Palm Springs. Definitely a road trip since Jake's sporting that slightly deeper driver's tan on his left arm.
Work started today on EoW and is going to keep him busy for the next 5 weeks.
Then what?
Well while it might be hard to figure out Jake's next moves some times, there might be a chance OMG's got the jump on it this time.
Sunday, this tweet popped up.
"So Jake Gyllenhaal and others will be at my work one Saturday because of an unveiling then, I wanna meet a celebrity." - Quixotic G
And where does this tweeter come from?
Berkley California.
What is happening in Berkley soon that involves an unveiling?
Well money's on Chez Panisse celebrating their 40th Anniversary August 26-27th.
It will celebrat the restaurant and it's chef Alice Waters as pioneers and food reformers through the organic and farm to table food movements, and for creating what is now known as California Cuisine.
Kicking it off is a weekend-long event at the Berkeley Art Museum with the highlight, an unveiling of Water's portrait that will be a part of the National Portrait Gallery at The Smithsonian. It is the first such unveiling to ever take place outside Washington, D.C.
The museum will also fete Chez Panisse's famed goat cheese salad in the form of a herd of live goats and cheese being made on site at the museum and a series of edible gardens on the grounds, was well as having cooking stations, installations, and classes.
There will also be dinners and events in the Bay Area, and around the country celebrating the food reformer and raising funds for Water's Edible Schoolyards. "This fall, the Chez Panisse Foundation will become The Edible Schoolyard organization." Their mission is to "build a national curriculum for Edible Education in the school system."If you remember last fall Jake was named as an ambassador for Edible Schoolyards and helped Chef Water's kick off the program in New York.Jake you might want to trim the beard before you go, to avoid the whole "who wore it better" in the mags between you and the goats.
