Bwah hah hah hah hah! Yes, the Blackout game arrived today. £1.75 worth of cards, dice (that can only be used for the game BUT I may try to incoporate into the DBA ancients campaign in some way). Most importantly, the dice tower itself. Simple, self enclosing, compact and with its own dice tray (which the dice have a tendency to avoid and flop out onto the table but I'm sure I can live with that).

The Blackout mini-dice tower. £1.75 of dice-tossing goodness. |

The Blackout dice - numbers 1-5 and the letters R, X and W. Maybe use this for the Sea voyages - W for Wrecked, R for Really Wrecked and X for X marks the spot where your ship went down. |

6 and two 5's - come to Papa! |
The first practice roll gave an inauspicious 2,3,3 on three dice but the next one threw up 6,6,4! Hah! My days of crappy dice throwing are now over. Tremble before the unstoppable might of the mini-dice tower and it's unerring ability to - hold on! 1,3,1! That's not right! Surely this little beauty should only be delivering 4+ on each roll. Aha! 6,5,5 - now that's more like it!
I hope the magic isn't linked to our dining room and wanes the further from home I go...
