After losing my job at Christmas I've been up and down like a pair of whore's knickers. It now looks like I may have picked up a short term contract which will (hopefully) pay the bills for a year or two and also have a first interview for a marketing communications role and a second interview for a marketing job in Manchester which sounds really challenging and fun (but how I'm going to get to Deeside Defenders on a Thursday night has yet to be determined!).
Wargaming, painting and blogging has also helped so thanks to you all for reading and commenting - the feedback (and just knowing that someone reads my gumph from time to time) really encourages you to keep going.
So light at the end of the tunnel. And what's also kept me going has been the help and support of lots of different people. So a big thanks to the boys - Russ, Mark, John and Ian (especially for putting some work my way which has helped tide us over this month!) and also to Martin for his proposal. It helps get you through the hard times knowing there are people out there like you guys.
So a big thanks to you all. It is very much appreciated.
