Back from lining the pockets of many stall holders - now to bore you all with some pics of the show. But first, a few observations.
As a show, Triples is excellent. Good venue (everything crammed into 2 halls) with plenty on show but plenty of room as well. A good range of traders - except for a specialist dice stall - and even us 6mm players were very happy.
I spent mainly on bits and pieces - washes, paints, some Rapier figures, some Irregular explosions (for suppression markers), a 19th C PoW army list book. Russ picked up his whopping Irregular and Heroics and Ros orders (Andy from H&R was on a recce to see if it was worth having a stall next year). Russ generously drove us there and back and I looked through his loot on the way back.
Saw many people from Deeside Defenders and everyone seemed to have a good time. There was some Dalek nonsense going on but I didn't let that get in the way of my enjoyment. Well done Triples - a great day!

Russ with Pete from Baccus. Russ is smiling because he's managed to keep the wallet shut for once. |
Pete's assistant tries to get me to buy Napoleonic Austrians instead to make up for the Russ shortfall. |
Mark and Ian haggle with Total Battle Miniatures over the walled town. Mark offers £5 and his beard. Which is turned down as the TBM guy has a better beard already. |
