Following on from the Grand Armee bash on Sunday, I'm going to re-base my British / Portuguese / Dutch / Brunswick / Hanover / Prussian army (currently set up for the Polymos rules) to the 3" / 1.5" Grand Armee standard.
So I'm going to create about 30 3" square bases together with about 15 3" x 1.5" rectangle bases for the artillery. The commander in chief will go on a 2" square base and the rest of the commanders on 1" square bases.
I'm going to go with 48 figures a base for Line Infantry (with a few skirmishers for SK1 and SK2 units) and 18 cavalry per base for cavalry (24 plus 9 for mixed units). I'm thinking of 1 gun plus 1 limber for each artillery base.
First up - creating the bases!
