2012 - the plans

During the DBMM debacle we spent a lot of time discussing plans for next year.

We all want to 'own' a month with our own campaign - for me it will be the DBA ancients, Russ is likely to do something either 100YW or Classical Indian based (possibly FOG as he has stated that Warmaster Ancients has the same effect on him that garlic has for out pointy-toothed Twilight friends).  Ian will probably put on an ECW campaign (or a SYW or 30YW or .... well, it will be good, whatever it is).

Mark I don't know yet but he's clearly itching to put on a Spearhead (possibly Leningrad or the War in the Desert).

But there's so much more to look at.  Grand Armee (with the potential for Ligny, Quatre Bras and Waterloo).  Victory at Sea (Midway?  Coral Sea?  Or potentially a North Atlantic bash - such as hunt the Bismark).  We also need to think about something big and brash for Gauntlet - such as Sword Beach at D-Day!

The great debate / horse trading starts next week.  As long as I get the DBA campaign in early (February?) then I'm happy.  If the campaign runs well, the aim may be to transfer the idea over to another milieu (so we could try a 100YW campaign with the aim of taking territory in France from each other, for example).  As for the rest, I'm willing to try anything but especially Spearhead in Russia and Grand Armee around Waterloo.
