Jazzing up my Grand Armee bases

As I can't hope to compete with the likes of Mark, Ian and Russ (with their hordes of Heroics and Ros figures on each Grand Armee base - up to 70+ in some cases) - mainly as I have a Baccus army which is a) much chunkier than H&R and so take up more room on the base and b) a damn sight more expensive per figure.

Therefore I have decided to make up for my skimpy figure count by adding scenery to each base - trees, walls, etc. - thereby at least making them look interesting (to compensate for the low population levels on each).

Some examples below together with some work in progress.

I'm thinking of giving each army a similar style of flock and talus - thus the Prussians will have brown earth and bushy green grass while the Portuguese and British will have rockier terrain with sparser sun burned grass instead.

Prussians on the left with bushy dark green grass and deciduous tree.
Dutch on the right with a summery field feel (and a couple of poplars)

Same bases from ground level - making the trees stand out more.

British work in progress - skirmishers hide behind a field's fence as the line infantry move up behind them

The same base from the side.  The ground the troops are on will be a
sparse summer grass (to contrast with the green crop in the fenced field

Prussian WIP - skirmishers hide behind a bush and fallen log with line infanty behind.

Same base from the side - you can see the skirmishers more clearly here
Only 40 more to go!
