Russ has spent more of his hard earned cash on some 6mm figures for Impetus. He's gone for a Macedonian pike army with peltasts and Companion Cavalry - and very nice they are too (that's not them in the picture but they are Baccus Macedonian pike so you can get the idea).
Cleverly, Baccus offer them either with the spears pre-cast OR empty handed (so you can add your own). Russ has done the latter with dress making pins which look much more robust. Simply snip off the pin head, stick the pointy bit into the base and glue.
The peltasts also look like they'll scrub up really well.
He's a long way from getting them all based up but I have a feeling they will look spectacular when finished.
