Almost two years ago there was some talk about Jake chasing Matt Damon. Now there is more talk but this time in Variety and Jake being a shortlist to take over the Bourne franchise. Could this be the reason the project with Linman has been on indefinite hold? Will the holding pattern with Linman help Jake edge out the competition of Tobey Maguire, Garrett Hedlund, Taylor Kitsch, and Kellan Lutz ? Looks like there's a lot riding on Source Code for Jake. As well as for Duncan. (Will Source Code reveal Duncan Jones as a genius or a master of MacGuffin?)
