Triples pics

Back from lining the pockets of many stall holders - now to bore you all with some pics of the show.  But first, a few observations.

As a show, Triples is excellent.  Good venue (everything crammed into 2 halls) with plenty on show but plenty of room as well.  A good range of traders - except for a specialist dice stall - and even us 6mm players were very happy.

I spent mainly on bits and pieces - washes, paints, some Rapier figures, some Irregular explosions (for suppression markers), a 19th C PoW army list book.   Russ picked up his whopping Irregular and Heroics and Ros orders (Andy from H&R was on a recce to see if it was worth having a stall next year).  Russ generously drove us there and back and I looked through his loot on the way back.

Saw many people from Deeside Defenders and everyone seemed to have a good time.  There was some Dalek nonsense going on but I didn't let that get in the way of my enjoyment.  Well done Triples - a great day!

Russ with Pete from Baccus.  Russ is smiling because he's managed to keep the wallet shut for once.

Pete's assistant tries to get me to buy Napoleonic Austrians instead to make up for the Russ shortfall.
Mark and Ian haggle with Total Battle Miniatures over the walled town.  Mark offers £5 and his beard.  Which is turned down as the TBM guy has a better beard already.

The TBM walled town.. Gorgeous!
Something Civil War-ish.  Nice!

Something medieval - fantastic paint jobs.
