Waterloo - lightweight stops play

Thursday night saw us have a dry run of the Race to Leningrad Spearhead campaign (more later).  Mark was trying to tie us down for a date to run the final battle of the Napoleonic campaign (Waterloo).  The next few Saturdays were out (Triples at Sheffield next week, then Mark couldn't make one weekend, John another then Russ is on his hols.  Mark gave Russ a hard time about his commitment to the cause - putting a holiday before allowing Mark the opportunity to finish his campaign.

So the only date we could possibly make was this Saturday.  So Mark called it as the date we were going to do Waterloo.

"Call me before 12 noon on Friday" quoth the Welshy.  So diaries were adjusted, plans adjusted (including getting a 3 piece suite delivered on Friday rather than Saturday).  Calls were made and 3 of us agreed to attend at Ian's house.

It was 3 because not long after all the shenanigans, Mark sent us all a message....

Gents
i don't think i will be able to make it.  we will have to reschedule for a later date
