I'm working on producing some Japanese guns for Tarawa - with the added requirement that they're camoflaged (as the guns would have been). These represent the Japanese artillery aimed at the ships dropping the Americans off as well as artillery against the ground forces.
These are made by inserting thin aluminium tubes into small blocks - once the camo is then attached all that can be seen is the gun barrel pointing through.
